Plastic Coated UrAmask - Tan is a Urethane Grade, 100% holdout material. It is constructed of Tan Kraft Paper creating the strength of the material, with a plastic overlay for holdout. The tan color is the natural color of Kraft Paper, which is much stronger than anything that Automotive Refinish is accustomed to using. The stronger Kraft Paper allows the application of a thinner coating of plastic, so the Basis Weight is 13.5% lighter than newsprint style Plastic Coated. Premium Quality Paint Shops use this higher grade masking material because it is stronger, more flexible & eliminates paint bleed through, thus cutting down on the detail clean-up work necessary with lesser quality materials.
